It's a bug/(feature) which I'm going to fix when I have time for this.

Hurrah. I managed to have MD programmed with 12 custom names. It seems you have to highlight each one individually, in MDM, and send. I've powered off and on and it appears to have stayed in memory this time.

The challenges start when reading MD data back to MDM or opening an existing MDS with custom names...a quick work around is to load/save as customnames separatly in the custom names panel.

It seems like all problems with reading/saving custom names disappered in the 17/7 release of MegaDRUM Manager. Nice Dmitri!

Sorry man -

This is not the firmware...which is 20120530....this was the MegaDRUM Manager software...(automatically updated by Java)

To see which version you have...go in to MegaDRUM Manager and select help in the dropdown menu and then select about.

Best Regards

Anders

Ah I see. I've had to reload MDM for this laptop but can't for the life of me get it to load the firmware.
It now seems to open with 32 custom names as default.
