Hi!
I am not too familar with EZ...but i would try to use the standalone vST player from toontrack called solo first and load ez drummer here. Just to keep the complexity down a bit and really see if the mappings is right between Megadrum and EZ drummer. Then if this works...you are ready for the next step, Cubase!
There is a lot of questions regarding mapping...and it is a complex area. The key in most cases is to really dig in to the details and read the manual for the VST software. There are extremely good movies on Toontrack how to do mappings. When you know the exact midi note...it is just to enter them into MD/MDM...and play!!
For people who are using AD with MegaDRUM...i have stored my settings file for MD (called MDS) and my AD.map file on my site. Just to steal with pride...drag and drop into AD and play!
Best Regards
Anders
