Best way to set custom curves

Postby tinch06 » Thu Mar 30, 2017 12:34 pm

Hi All!

What is the best way to set custom curves?
I mean, how to measure the response from my pad to set custom curve and get a linear response in megadrum?

I think that hitting the pads from soft hits to hard hits is not the most accurate way to do that.

Thanks!

From my experience you shouldn't need to use anything other than a linear the curve. What you will find is that many of the drum libs are programmed using a keyboard to test, which doesn't necessarily match the output from your drums.
Trust your ears!

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.
