Megadrum Windows 7 Driver Error Fix

Postby germtangc » Thu Apr 28, 2011 2:39 pm

It is so frustrating after you finished building your megadrum then plugging it into the PC via usb only to have Windows 7 unable to install drivers for it. This is one fix for that:

Scenario: windows detected Megadrum but couldn't find the appropriate drivers for it. Go to Device Manager and do the following steps.

After these steps the exclamation mark disappears indicating windows have no more problems with the connected Megadrum. Using MDM or MCT you can now access Megadrum with your Windows 7 and possibly Windows XP.

I should note that I have two Windows 7 x64 PCs and neither had a problem finding drivers automatically.
