Synthex Interface bugs.

Hi Dmitri.
I made the Synthex interface with the V2 firmware for 18F2550 and it work perfectly with most of the gears. But I think it's firmware has a little problem. It can't communicate with the midi gear instantly after being connected [e.g Roland D50]; First I need to send bulk data to the PC, then it starts working perfectly.
And the second bug I found in it, is that it can not send sysex files to Yamaha PSR series like 400,500,510 and 600.
MPU401 interface is capable of doing this but Synthex not.

Is there any updates or suggestions?

Hi Dmitri. Last night I tested the new firmware but it did not solve the midi bulk send problem.

It does not work properly with VST software also. It has delay when you play a VST in the PC.

So far the V2 firmware had been the best one. (Has absolutely no problem with VST)

Some hints:
* the new up-to-date firmware behaves just like the the source code you have released in the forum.( I compiled the source code, and the result was the same )

* Other midi interfaces like M-AUDIO and Chinese interfaces have the same problem I mentioned in my first post in this topic; Plus, they have delay when hooked to a VST software.

* EDIROL (Roland) USB-MIDI interface that is not plus n' play and needs it's own driver to be installed from CD, works perfectly just like an MPU-401 interface connected to the old game/midi port .

What do you suggest my friend?

I cannot help you with old (Synthex) PIC firmware. Install the latest firmware and create a new topic with the description of the problem and the way to reproduce it. When talking about delays/latencies it is not enough to say that there is a delay, see viewtopic.php?p=18036#p18036 for example.
