help with roland cymbals

Hey guys,

i'm having trouble getting my roland dual zone CY-8 working on mega drum.

when I set it on single piezo, I get note 49 like I expect.

I want to be able to use the edge switch, so I tried setting it to "dual or 3 way Yamaha" That leaves me with bow strikes registering as 3rd zone hits. Dampened note for zone 3 is on 49 setting this to 0 results in no sound. edge hits are not detected different then bow hits.

Setting it to a "roland 3 zone" results in note 48. Which is really strange, because I don't specify anything for note 48.

Can someone please point me in the right direction here????

Thanks for the reply. It was mostly due to the threshold settings.

I still don't understand why it triggered sound 48 though. But it's working now.
