How can I tell which port I have activated?

Postby G-Man » Fri Oct 25, 2013 7:21 am

OK so here is my question...

I soldered my jacks and have connected the ribbon cables to the board, but I Have only connected 24 jacks to the board. Of those only 17 are working, I suspect pin out issues with some of my PADS 2 connectors because 4 of those aren't working and 3 from my PADS 1 aren't working.

So what I am trying to figure out is what ports I am actually triggering. I mounted the jacks already so tracing my ribbon cable back to the board is very difficult. Is there a way to do it in MDM? When I use MIDI Log it shows activity but I can't figure out which ports I am triggering. What do you guys recommend? I want to find out so that I can start setting up the notes for Superior Drummer to setup up.

Thanks

Thanks Dmitri

Is it possible through mdm to do this? I am still waiting to get a compatible 2x16 lcd as my 2x20 lcd seems to not be compatible.

Thanks
