VH-11 Hi Hat Issues

Hello,

I'm setting up my megadrum for the first time and am having some VH-11 issues. My process has been to set up one individual instrument at a time. I was able to successfully setup the VH-11 to fairly decent playability. The issue arose when I started to plug in multiple instruments. By adding any other instrument while the VH-11 is plugged in, I suddenly lose a significant amount of gain from the VH-11. Also the megadrum then begins to infinitely send my head/bow note #46. I can raise the threshold to deplete the note but it then becomes far to high of a threshold for decent playability. When I increase the gain to on the head/bow to compensate for the loss of gain, the infinite MIDI note #46 just becomes far too out of control. Is this common for adding other instruments to affect the gain of the hi-hat? I'm wondering if I might have a hardwire or wiring issue. Any help would be so much appreciated! Here were my successful hi-hat settings before plugging any other instruments.

Hi!

I have some VH-11 settings in my library http://powerhell.wordpress.com/about/zo ... d-library/
In the ROM Kit Advanced in firmware 20140629 the VH-11 is configured.
Just looking on your figures....I would:

Bow/Edge
Increase minscan to 40/20
Retrigger: 1/1
Gain 4/4
Threshold: 23/25
Dyn lev: 12/12
Dyn time: 24/24

And most important ! Change your edge input from piezo to Switch!!

You have also a very small gap on low/high level on the pedal...based on that you have not installed a 15k resistor between the ring and tip on the pedal input. It is required for VH-11.

Best Regards
