Hi-Hat sensitivity issue

So I'm trying to play along with a track I made but I'm not too happy with the closed hihat sounds. Seems like every hit is the same. I tried to vary the amount of force in my hits but that didn't work. I have verified that my hits are coming through into MDM at different velocities so the sensitivity is there, however Superior Drummer doesn't do anything special with that info. To me it sounds like it puts a static closed sound to it. I'm not sure what to do about this. My hihat is a Yamaha pcy135. Would a screenshot of my settings help?

Can anyone please give me advise or point me in the right direction. Would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Maybe Superior Drummer have other HiHat library with better variation of closed sounds?

Seemingly there are 3 Hi hats, all sampled with multiple beaters and I'm certain there are round robins.

I have 4 different libraries. I think either it can't be made to sound real or its a setting i have messed up somewhere. Does anyone set their alt note to something different the their main note for the hihat?

You can use alt note but you shouldn't need to there is something wrong in the set up in SD.
