New to Mega Drum, hoping someone could guide me on getting Mega Drum Manager to run on Linux. There does not seem to be a obvious executable. Thanks

In the download section on megadrum.info there is a .jar file for use on Linux. You might need to activate "allow executing as a program" (or something like that) in the permissions settings of the file (right click > properties> permissions).

Thanks for the reply, i am able to extract OK, i have a bunch of folders and going through each folder i do not find anything that resembles a executable. I am still learning linux, so excuse the Noob questions. I guess i am assuming there would just be a file called MegaDrum and open that. But unfortunately this is not the case. Any help would be appreciated.

You're not supposed to extract it. I'm going to assume you're using Ubuntu, Mint or similar. First, make sure you have Java installed (check with your distro's package manager if not sure). Right click on the .jar file > properties > Permissions tab. Here, activate "Allow executing file as program" > close. Now, right click again on the .jar file and if you do not see the option "Open with OpenJDK Java 7 Runtime" or similar at the top, go again to Properties > 'Open With' tab. Here, choose "OpenJDK Java 7 Runtime". Now, you can double click on the file and it should open.
