Cannot configure hall sensor hi hat cc4

Postby anus_young » Sun Mar 05, 2017 3:26 pm

Hello fellows,
I´m in trouble with hi hat settings, Tried to put the several notes into the Notes section that did not work.
Than I disabled them all except the hit trig and tip trig notes on Bow and Edge, because i´ve had read, that software is doing everything in between when cc4 is used?!

These are my settings actually:

Need help have only open hi hat can see that the md recognise my pedal movement, but do nothing in ez drummer.

My high level is about 740, Low is 16.

I can´t see a midi log window in MDM, is the reason that I have the 2,2 LCD?

Thanks in advance,

André

If you use MIDI CC for pedal positions then you have to set all HiHat Pedal Notes for all zones equal to Notes of the HiHat cymbal (not to zero!).

In MDM select View->MIDI Log->Show.

Hello dmitri,
I tried this also without success. I´m now at work, but when I´m back at my mac than I will try this again. But the different Hi Hat states are total different named then in the MDM mask.

I will post screenshots for that, but my real issue is that MDM recognize the CC4 also EZDrummer2, too.

Regards,

André

Hello Dmitri, seems to be a more technical problem instead of MDM, but let me show you the mdm screens for reversed and unchecked reversed levels. Looks like there is coming no signal thru from sensor to jack to md.

Would you think it´s better to post this in the off topic area?

Regards,

André

What is the actual problem? You're not getting signal from the sensor? Check voltage on the signal wire with a voltmeter/tester. What voltage do you get when it's open and when it's closed? Btw, I myself never built a Hall sensor HiHat controller myself so if the problem is with the sensor then I'll probably won't be able to help.

Hi,

Could you tell us the type of Hall Sensor you are using?
