Hello fellas, I'm having serious trouble with Megadrum and Yamaha Pads:
- HiHat (RHH135)
- Ride (PCY-155)

What is working so far:
- 3-way zone for Ride (Border, body, bell)
- Pedal position

What I'm not able to fix, is that I just keep losing many notes.
Let's say I play a 80 bmp 4/4 on the HiHat: They all sound. Now I double the speed, and I can only hear one every two hits or so.
Same exact thing on the ride.

It does not happen in any other trigger (Triggera), or even in my crash pads (Cheapest Thomann ones)

Do I need to configure something special for Yamaha?
Invert cable polarity or strange things?
Is just my setup not ok?
Both units are faulty (I doubt it..)?

For the HiHat I can try to 'fix' it using the rim/edge with the same note, but it's not ideal and I still lose some of them notes if I play any quick break on the hi hat.
For the ride is hopeless, I cannot play anything but 60bpm....

The ride high level is very low, turn the gain to 4 and resets the level.

Reduce Retrigger, DynLevel and DynTime to minimums. Do you still get missed hits?
And as airflamesred suggested, you need to set Gain and HighLevel right.

Ride is now working as expected, this is so awesome!!!

One final thing related to the Hi Hat (Find image in the links from the OP):
- I cannot seem to find the perfect setting for the pedal control/hi hat notes. It seems the bar moves from open/close correctly, but all the time, the hi hat seems from very open to somewhat open. Never really closed. It seems a bit hacky the values that I found for the Yamaha :/
- I miss some notes (I've tried the same as with the ride, will play around a bit more though).

You need to adjust High and Low level fro the pedal correctly and you may want to choose a different Curve for the pedal.
