Megadrum manager FX won’t open dialog windows

Ho there. I’m using a 32 in MD moduli since 2015 that world really fine.
I have dowloaded there l’asta release of MD manager FX a few days ago and installed it in my MacBook Pro retina 15”, i7, 16 GB ram, OSX Mojave. Everything works but When I try to save/load to/from file no window appears. Simply notning happens. Is this happening to someone else? Any suggestion?

I'm on MacOS High Sierra (10.13.6) and have the same behaviour in MegaDRUM Manager FX v20200410 - No dialogs show up when I try to save the setup or load a MegaDRUM firmware file. I have installed the latest JRE 1.8.0_251-b08.
Any solutions?

Did you install MDMFX version with Java (JRE) bundled or not?

I have tried both versions, with and without java. Same behaviour.....

As I'm on 10.15 I cannot test it but theoretically you probably need to run Java configuration utility and select JRE 1.8 as proffered JAVA.

Hi,
I cleaned out all my previous Java Installations on MacOS and reinstalled MegaDRUM manager incl. Java but still the same, no dialogs!
BUT I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!
The megadrummanagerfx.cfg file had an obsolete path to the first configuration. I edited the megadrummanagerfx.cfg file in a text editor an set
configFileName0 = config1
configFullPath0 =
And now it works!

It worked for me too.
Another solution that works is to trash the megadrummmanagerfx.cfg, launch MDFX which will ask to choose midi port etc....
Problem solved!

Did you keep the original megadrummmanagerfx.cfg ? Want to see if I can reproduce the problem with it and come up with a fix.
