If I wire it up as so, and connect this to the circuit in this thread, in theory I should be fine?? I'll be sending note on/off messages as well as CC messages.
Could I also have a schematic for this deisgn as well?

This looks great, I plan to use this with arduino as a midi to usb converter, I think it should work the same way? I'm building a MIDI controller using arduino (similar to megadrum, but pots and buttons instead of piezos)
