Yamaha RHH135 and SD2 - setup help

Has anyone had any luck setting up a Yammy RHH135 Hihat with megadrum and Superior Drummer 2? I've been working at it for a few weeks and I'm dead in the water.

Dmitri said to read this: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=972&start=70 and I did but now I have more questions than any definitive answers.

So would anyone be willing to share how you got it to work and what your settings are? Did you have to reverse the polarity with adapters/rewiring? Or does it work out of the box.

Nobody? Anybody? Can someone at least confirm whether or not I have to make a new cable to switch polarity?

...it looks like Yamaha pedals use opposite polarity to what MegaDrum expects, i.e. Yamaha uses the ring for the signal and the tip for power.

Be sure to come back with your settings: I will need them also

OK. I guess I'll try to reverse the polarity with an adapter cable and see if I can get things working.
