So were the Wright Brothers, Freddie Heineken and Einstein. I think if they lived now they would have build a drumkit with 15 cupholders for beer, that could fly it self to the moon, together with airflamesred and play a serenade half drunk. I'm jealous, well done!!!! :D

Very nice...it starts to look like Neil Pearts drumset when performing at david lettermans drum solo weeks...

Thanks guys
If I use a keyboard as an example where you don't use every note on every piece you play - its just there if you need it. I'm really not sure how this is all going to work out, but it will keep me entertained for a while.

I'm going to post some settings tomorrow. I thought this would be really straight forward, only using single piezo's, but I came across some things that maybe useful, especially for those who come here and complain about a great product and then don't set it up properly.

The drumtec pedal shown earlier in this thread just wasn't working (on the left foot anyway) to an acuracy or speed I was hoping to,so bought a duallist D4 (actually half of the D3 package) and converted that in the same way as the drumtec, with a separate pad on each beater. Much happier with it.
The right pedal remains as the drumtec with a dampened bd sample on the front and an orchestral bd on the heel - thrown in occasionally.
The duallist is currently sporting the very poor shaker samples I'm using - one slightly de tuned. By adding anote to the front pad (lower volume) I can get a reasonably good sound/rhythm. Garritan - next on my list.

I hadn't seen this thread till today! Nice work, and very unique! I am very interested in these pads too! They will be a nice addition to my blank spaces. I'd sure love to see a video of this kit in action!

NOT ME! but really innovative use of rims. I'll post something soon when I've learnt to play enough not to embarrass my self too much.
