MDM works with both newer ARM (STM32) based MegaDrums and older Atmega based MegaDrums.

What did you select for MIDI In and MIDI Out in MDM Options?

I have done many tests but the problem is that MDM does not connect to megadrum

Which OS & hardware are you using? Windows 7 & Windows 8 will see the MegaDRUM immediately when connect it over the USB port on the MD to the computers USB port. MegaDRUM Midi Driver is included in the OS.

If you don't see it connected in the device manager when connecting it over USB - Try another computer with a USB port and verify the MD - if it is connecting.

(And I hope that you are not trying to connecting the MD via the old 5 pins MIDI interface to your Yamaha MLan sound card?)

1. What MIDI devices are available for MIDI In and MIDI Out in MDM Options? Screenshot (not MIDI-OX screenshot)? Is MegaDrum already connected over USB before you start MDM?
2. If MegaDrum is not available in MDM Options, take two screenshots of the list of "Sound, Video and Game controllers" in the Device manager when MegaDrum is connected over USB and when it's not.

1 - I use win XP Pro sp3 on MacBook Pro with boot camp
2 - Now I connect to another computer
3 - Of course I connect MD to computer USB and not mLan
4 - MIDI devices: look file
5 - MegaDrum is already connected over USB before I start MDM
6 - MDM Options: look file
7 - Device manager: look file

Aha...you have a bit more complex environment. (A bit hard to guess...)

I have no idea how it is working in bootcamp and a old OS like Windows XP.

I am guessing if you boot it up in your Apple OS (MDM supports Apple as well) you will see it...as well if you try it on a separate computer with Windows only on.

Best Regards

Anders

So are the screenshots from "win XP Pro sp3 on MacBook Pro" or from "another computer"? If it is "another computer", what is it? Something in your OS prevents programs from seeing USB MIDI devices.
