Hi,
I did all the settings on the MD itself (with no slot loaded). Here's the screenshot:

As far as I can see when you hit the rim with medium and hard hits you get only rim notes - just as needed. Correct?
Switch type rims need some force to make and this is why light hits on rim may trigger head instead.
As far as I can see it works as expected so the problem you were having is somehow related to MDM<->MegaDrum communication or some misconfiguration.

Yes I agree. I will do a full setup of my kit via the MD menu and try it out, then report back here. Thanks so far. :)

Hi Again,

I've setup everything through the MD's menu and it seems to work correctly. Now I will do the same to the second MD unit, hopefully I will get the same result there.
It seems that the MDM did some strange things to MD, or maybe something got corrupted along the USB path (bad cable...). Anyway I'm happy. I'll let you know if I for some reason find any more problems. Thanks for excellent support. :)

cheers
Martin

Well, the project is mostly on the drawing board so far, but the idea is three drummers with four dual-zone pads each, all connected to a single MD. Me and a friend of mine will have an MD each to evaluate this concept. After that we need to find a real good drummer to join our crazy project. :)
