Can you tell me where the downloaded files are stored, so i can backup them ?

When installed with Java Web Start? I believe Java stores them in /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/Oracle/Java/Deployment/cache

hello,
i'm back here with still a problem to install the latest "megadrum-manager-installer.pkg" on mac version 10.7
the same message "cannot be installed" on this computer appears.
Is there anything new i can do to make it work ?

From viewtopic.php?p=26230#p26230 I understand you sorted it out with Web Start.
I'm on the latest Mac OS X 10.9.4 (which is free by the way) and unfortunately I don't have 10.7 to test and toubleshoot it with.

yes indeed, but i would have liked to install the native app.
Well it's now some days i'm wondering about moving to 10.9. Let me do a backup first (i'm not keen on systematic upgrades with a working system), then i'll come back later to let you know.
I'm creating another thread because the related problem is i didn't succeed in upgrading the firmware...

It's not a native app. It is still the same Java program wrapped into an installer and a launcher.
