Megadrum freezes when MIDI options open

Thanks for the help angr, is MD USB supposed to be an option on the drop down under options? I don't see that one listed in mine.

Also my girlfriend has a laptop with maverick on it (this is why drummer's need other people right?) so I'll see if I can get more luck with that one running MDmanager. And I did resolve my hi hat pedal issue so my only issue left is solving the mystery of why I can't seem to get rid of other programs omitting midi Port 2 since i keep getting double hits (1 though port 1, one through port 2) but I already asked about that in a different thread and as Dmitri pointed out it's almost definitely something I need to work out with my other software and not MD.

Again thanks to Dmitiri and everyone else on this forum, you guys have been so incredibly helpful.

And kudos to Dmitri on the MDcommander, the interface is awesome! Really well done!

Using my girlfriend's laptop, I used MDmanager to select USB megadrum USB as the midi option and the program recognized MD and sent all the info perfectly, no more red sys ex timeout or anything like that.

Having that said I'm still scratching my head as to how to get rid of my double note problem, it's still coming through both ports in logic and any DAW I use it with (kontakt in this case) and I can't seem to stop it. I have gone into the environment in logic and looked at the physical input but I can't actually edit it, just delete it all together. It consists of port 1, port 2 and SUM. If you have any advice for me, this is the thread where I originally posted the problem. Thanks!

You must configure your MIDI software to listen on only one of two MegaDrum ports available.

I also had the double note thing, with Kontakt as well.
Under options/midi - un tick one of the MD options.
