Then you have to sort out first why you get SysEx error. Otherwise, MegaDrum will never know what you configured in MDM.

dmitri wrote:For the default MegaDrum map, yes. Note that Tom 1 in this map is on inputs 10 and 11 but according to your last screenshot you're configuring inputs 6 and 7.

Input 1 goes to jack 2 tip (Kick in default drum map as shown in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1393)
Input 2 goes to jack 3 tip (HiHat bow)
Input 3 goes to jack 3 ring (HiHat edge)
Input 4 goes to jack 4 tip (Snare head)
Input 5 goes to jack 4 ring (Snare rim)
Input 6 goes to jack 5 tip (Ride bow)
Input 7 goes to jack 5 ring (Ride edge)
and so on
There is no physical restriction in MegaDrum which jacks you connect your pads/cymbals. In MegaDrum you can configure any input for any pads/cymbals.
You connect your pads according to a Drum map.
If Tom1 in your drum map is on inputs 6 and 7 then you must connect it to jack 5.
Or you can keep it in the default jack 7 but then you must configure inputs 10 and 11 for Tom1 sound.
