They are as accurate as the OS accuracy which normally should be pretty good.

Font-size at 2560x1440, 72 dpi/inch.

The problem is described here: http://news.kynosarges.org/2013/08/09/javafx-dpi-scaling/ in-depth, and (part of) the solution here: http://news.kynosarges.org/2015/06/29/javafx-dpi-scaling-fixed/.

Something wrong with the display settings because I cannot read 'Recycling bin' either.

No it's not... It is because websites like Tinypic and so resize the uploaded screenshots. If you check the dimensions of the screenshot you'll see it doesn't mention the resolution airflamesred said it had to be..

The problem described there is specific to Windows, the screenshot you show is from Mac. As far as I know JavaFX on Mac has never had DPI problems and on Windows it had been resolved. Besides it is largely irrelevant to MDMFX since I manually programmed resizing.
On your Mac screenshot, why did you make the MDMFX window so small if you cannot read anything on it?

Please post an non-resized screenshot so that I could see what the problem is.

I really think the majority of this should be tabbed.

Fonts are sized to the height of the controls - the higher the controls the bigger the font. Make the whole window higher and it will make the fonts bigger. There is a limit to how big the font can grow for a given window width - this is done to prevent label becoming too large to fit the label space.
Compare this full size window:
(all screenshots are downsized from 2880x1800 to 1920x1200)

with narrow window and controls height limit:
Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 21.16.57 resized.png

and with narrow window if I don't limit font size (notice labels over-sizing and controls inteference):
Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 21.23.41 resized.png

And don't forget you can detach each panel and make it as big as you want. E.g.:
Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 21.37.18 resized.png

And if you choose not to show advanced settings fonts will be even bigger:

The full size is fine, but with having a VST open as well space is limited. Personally I'd prefer to scroll (with wheel) in MDM rather than this resize, and I would guess is less work.

Anyhow, weird behaviour with this, After 'send all' ( I don't save in MD) the first hit of every pad (all 49) triggers a cymbal. It is an assigned note (82) I'm not sure which input.

How it looks in 2160 x 1440 pixels.

The top bar buttons is very small - Get All, Load slot etc...(But this is maybe a system setting problem..)

They are standard system size, it's all the resizeable controls which become bigger then standard system sizes.
